Right now we are only accepting submissions for the Mexico City issue.

We’re interested in your best previously unpublished photography, short stories, and creative nonfiction. The fiction can be about anything. But keep it realistic, and keep it in the city. You don’t have to live in the city, but you have been there, and we want you to take us there. We want to get a sense of the place, to get a glimpse or a sniff of the atmosphere. We want to smell the quesadillas, the smog, the rotting garbage, we want to hear the honking horns, the screaming kids playing street soccer, and the steam whistle of the camote guy. We want to see what kind of people live there. Same goes for the creative nonfiction.

The photography ... Again, we're interested in work that shows us how it is to live in the city. Everything from street photography, portraits, people's homes ... you name it.

Go nuts. Surprise us. We’ll know what we want when we see it.


We wish we could pay. You deserve it. The bad news is we can't. The good news is we don't have any reading fees.
